BUT, I was shocked when I arrived to be told I was assigned an XL bike in the back (I am only 4'11") I had checked the S&T app 2 hours before the class, I was on a regular bike in the 2nd row. So S&T kicked me off my bike and gave it to someone else!! I expect more for 13 stars!! When I called them out on it they just shrugged and said "ClassPass".

see all reviewsThis was my first experience with this specific class. I found the class to be enjoyable, and the teacher's energy was impressive. The staff recognized me from previous visits, although I had not attended in some time, and not for this particular class. The workout was challenging and induced sweating, yet it also felt refreshing. The music played by the instructor was highly effective in motivating the group. For those new to the class, I recommend feeling at ease, as everyone is welcoming. So far, I have not had trouble finding parking, but it is crucial to arrive promptly to get settled. I will definitely return.

see all reviewsAwesome! It is fantastic that nectar is offering strength training 💪 I love it. The set up was 2 circuits with 5 stations, with 4 rounds per circuit for a total of 8 rounds. It was a lot of changing stations. I think I would prefer (something like) two reps per station (short pause btw reps) and 3 rounds per circuit for a total of 8. An adjustment like that would keep you at each station longer — so you really get your form right and 🔥 burn out your muscles a little more.

see all reviewsOne - I’m glad they don’t let late people come in - this is probably the most beautiful yoga studio I’ve been to in the city and I’m glad the teachers are protecting the serenity of the space. Two - our teacher - as lovely as he was - spent more time walking around the room correcting people’s postures, rather than demonstrating the poses upfront, which caused me to feel a little lost (he also used the Sanskrit terms almost exclusively, which made it even more difficult to follow along). But, at the same time, I recognize the value of having someone personally correct your form; also, perhaps the students who come to this class come regularly, so that they are already familiar with the sequence and prefer having personal guidance instead . Overall, this was an incredibly positive experience - our teacher Donald has a beautiful voice and presence, and I look forward to taking his classes again.

see all reviewsAs someone who takes a billion classes and teaches myself, I was impressed with this instructor! I love that she took the time before class knowing I was "new" to the studio to 1.) personally introduce herself 2.) give a clear explanation of what class would be like 3.) recommend best spots in the room if you like/dislike the heat. I am a fitness professional myself and I see so many instructors miss this opportunity to connect & create a great class experience for new people in the room. She also intentionally remembered by name to call out during class (which seems nominal), but is easier said than done in a room full of 30+ people while you're also remembering your class plan. Really nice work Marlee!!! From one instructor to another...Keep it up!!!👏🏻
