Sui Deep Yin 75

see all reviewsInstructor was friendly, but the class was too fast paced. Hardly enough time in each pose to ensure that your form is correct. Also, it was a big class so there wasn't any individual attention to make sure your form is correct either.

see all reviewsAngelica is an amazing teacher! She explained everything very thoroughly, gave clear options for modifications, has a calm, grounded voice, and structured a very well balanced class. This is definitely a challenging yet empowering class that’s NOT high intensity/bootcamp- like where the instructor is basically yelling at you. SO refreshing to do a strength class that leaves you refreshed and is not overwhelming.

see all reviewsNot a beginner friendly class but loved it as a moderately experienced yogi who is familiar with basic poses and variations. Instructor would demonstrate but not explain how to get into poses, just said “warrior 2, crescent” etc. with minimal prompting. She left space for us to alter as we needed which made the class very freeing. Great workout and well-paced (I hate when yoga classes rush through poses too quickly - Christine was great!)

see all reviewsLoved the space! Front desk staff were friendly, and instructor was cheerful and welcoming. The clientele though, not very friendly (felt uncomfortable with these two girls next to me whispering). Lockers are gendered which makes it difficult for non-binary and trans folks to navigate the space. But the flow and sweat made up for its shortcomings.

see all reviewsWhere do I begin?! I am so happy the studio moved this class up to a 6pm time slot so I could try it out!! This was truly life changing, I was drenched by the end and the aftermath was so healing it kind of felt to me like there was some somatic release happening?! I felt like this session was so healing for me and left with such mental clarity I loved it! I really enjoyed how Lee structured the session and explained things very well. She was able to guide you into much deeper stretches throughout and was just an excellent instructor over all with letting you know how to correct posture and giving modifications if needed or if you wanted to go into more challenging versions the option was there as well. I am super happy. My entire commute home my brain was just saying woooow the whole time. I usually try to take a class here once a month but it looks like I’m going to have to try to hit the deep stretch AND a sculpt or Pilates from now on. I also like how everything is included (mats, towels etc) and you truly enjoy because you don’t have to worry about sanitizing before and after (it’s done before and after). I feel as though they truly understand a busy nyc lifestyle and makes it such a smooth experience. Very clean studio, my only suggestion is that the actual doors in the bathroom need to have some sort of occupancy sign so others know that it’s in use. Even next to the curtained showers it would help. Also this time around there really wasn’t any hot water it was very cold which I feel like can be dangerous after the body has been in hot temps for prolonged periods of time. I know this isn’t really the studios fault I think it may have been due to the previous class ending 30 mins before this one did and it just needed time to reheat? Others commented the same thing with the other showers as well.

Turns out - it happens to everyone! Desperate for some relief, I came to this class to stretch my back out and maybe meet some other pregnant ladies - I’m totally addicted. Instructor is fantastic, encourages us to take breaks if we need it, but it’s truly gentle enough for any pregnant mama.

It had been a while since I last worked out, so I was a bit hesitant about keeping up, but Mary made all the difference. She created such an encouraging and supportive environment while still pushing me just enough to get the most out of the class. Her energy, knowledge, and ability to connect with everyone in the room made the experience not only challenging but genuinely enjoyable. I walked out feeling accomplished and motivated to keep going. Highly recommend her classes to anyone looking for a great workout with an even better instructor!

see all reviewsAMAZING class! I hadn't taken a yoga class in over a decade after I was scarred by an experience at one of those "boutique studio" classes that were so popular in the early 2010s, where they would make you feel like you are "less than" because you didn't know the exact sequence of their signature flow 🥲 This class led by Angelica in her honeyed voice brought me back to life! I never felt confused by instructions or pushed to my limits, and yet somehow, the hour flew by, and all my muscles are sore 😄 I feel calm, centered, and restored. Thank you, Angelica!
