see all reviewsGreat class and lovely instructor but for me personally this didn’t really serve my preference of strength work. I attend the Block Strength classes to increase my strength and weight load as the exercises are usually targeted at heavy and slow weight lifting exercises so you can go heavier than you might normally want to try. This class was more varied strength work including a fair bit of body work as well so it would be fine if that’s what you’re after.

She slows down Pilates for you to concentrate on form and breath work, and then adds the intensity in. Lors de cette séance, et par rapport à celle de Stéphanie, le rythme des exercices était nettement plus rapide, ce qui m'a parfois empêché de suivre le nombre de séries, finissant parfois une seule jambe lorsque le temps était écoulé. Malgré cela, Martin était sympathique et corrigeait nos postures quand c'était nécessaire.

Not only does she have the best energy, she also teaches a choreography that’s fun and actually looks good. And maybe one of the most important things - she is motivating for beginners like myself. You do break a sweat and get the heart rate up and feel challenged but there’s such a lovely emphasis on being kind to yourself throughout and some more spiritual stuff that’s just very well done. There were times where I definitely couldn’t keep up with everyone else but Naomi gave me words of encouragement that really helped me through it and feel like I was doing a good job.
