Hip Hop [Beginner] (at UN Plaza)

This class was sooo much fun! I hope it records the instructor correctly as the (Afro-American) lady teaching the class was good (was subbing class). The class was ZERO intimidating. It was just at the right tempo, slow enough for me (as a first time goer) to pick up. I am definitely coming back! I would definitely recommend very welcoming environment.

    Adult/Teen Beginner Ballet Wednesday

Theresa is the coolest ballet instructor. She’s relaxed but rigorous and she adjusts to our skills: Beginner can be as tough as intermediate advanced if she sees that we can handle it. And yet she’s not stiff and strict like a traditional class. It’s awesome. I have decided to become a regular.

    Adult All-Levels Hip Hop

My hip hop instructor didn’t show but did belly dancing instead. WOW. Instructor Sihula is brilliant. My first class and I am HOOKED! Thank you universe for pushing me into that class. I’d never been sufficiently courageous or curious enough to try. Now I’m gonna be a regular for sure!

    All Levels Hip Hop Fusion

If I could give 10 stars I would. This class was EVERYTHING. I love to dance at home but never really do so in public. I’ve been restarting my fitness journey and wanted to find a sustainable form of cardio (me and the stair master are not friends) other than walking. This class was so much fun the music was great. Mo was an excellent instructor. So welcoming and encouraging. The 5 ladies I took the class with were very nice and the energy was so supportive and we were focused on learning the moves and moving our body that I didn’t even think to be self conscious. It felt so nice just to dance and not think about anyone judging me. Everybody was so uplifting. I’m definitely no professional dancer and I would recommend this class. My tip tho is to wear shoes with a grip. The dance floor was kinda slippery. And stretch before you come to class! It’s definitely a cardio workout. I was sweating more than when I did a HIIT workout a few days ago! Bring water! I will definitely be back :)
