    Foundation50: Build Your Basics

I signed up for the foundations class thinking it'd be chiller than the signature 50 class BUT no! It's still the same pace and exercises, just with more light and not as loud music. Not sure if people don't want to take the 'easier' foundations classes or because the class was in the middle of the day, but barely anyone else signed up for the class so you add the full attention from the coach. Coach Peter was PUSHING us. This was the hardest I've worked in my dozen solidcore classes cause I knew he was watching. Thanks coach 😮‍💨

Really happy that there is finally a bikram-esque class in the area!! This was a shortened version of the classic bikram and it was less strict and I think less humid. Would be great for people who liked the concept of bikram but find the length, strictness, and humidity not their style. The instructor made it light and fun. It is described as an advanced class but I feel anyone can do bikram so long as they pay close attention to instructions.

    STRETCH 60 - Yin Yoga

As a person who primarily does restorative/yin style classes, I have found that this studio has exceeded my expectations with instructors. I have spent years bouncing around various studios based on my instructor preferences for this style. I feel drawn to one instructor at one studio and another at another studio. But this studio has the most instructors in one place that I find my needs and preferences being served. Shawnte, Zara, Katrina, and Jay all have very different styles yet are equally exceptional at delivering a supportive and nourishing experience. It is apparent that they guide in the most authentic way for themselves and the diversity in my experiences while getting my needs met is unmatched. They show investment and presence throughout the practice and it spills into participants’ experience. Shawnte’s passion for sound healing and curating and experience has inspired me to evolve in my own personal exploration. I love that my week of practice is a blend of styles and experiences. 10+/10!!

This studio is great, every instructor I have had has been fantastic, Janet's strengths are a refined understanding of body mechanics, special attention to new learners, great personal adjustments, and a strong focus on breathing and intuitive movement. Pivot foundation classes are about proper alignment, ease of movement, and functional strength. My body always feels BETTER after their classes, the foundations are meant to be more meditative and instructive than purely a challenging workout like barre or something similar, even though you will shake at times. The personal attention is extremely helpful, I always learn a lot. Love this place!
