WOOOOOOHOOOOO Sweat House just opened location #2, literally minutes from location #1 by the University, and this place is PHENOMENAL. Sweat House has always seemed ahead of the Tucson fitness curve, bringing the California trends, aesthetics and workout vibes we love straight to Tucson before everyone else catches on. Xformer is definitely one of those. Basically reformer Pilates on steroids. 😂 This location is smaller than the Campbell location, with two rooms: the Xformer room doubles as the lobby/check-in area, and the second is the infrared room for XMAT and whatever heated classes they put on the schedule. Each room has its own bathroom loaded with amenities, but no showers, so yes, you will be a sweaty Betty. Mats are provided, along with towels, sweaty mats, wipes, etc. Basically bring yourself, water and grippy socks for Xformer and you’re good to go. PARKING deserves a mention because parking matters when we’re talking fitness studios. I had zero issues. Check-in was easy, everyone was super nice, and the whole place is CLEAN with the logo, aesthetic, club lighting and music all on point. They really know how to create a vibe. My first Xformer experience at the Campbell location wasn’t my favorite because it was rough on my wrists and joints, so I was curious how this one would go. Megan was AMAZING. Her cues were on point, she knew her stuff and she was super helpful with modifications without making me feel like I was constantly being corrected. Huge shout-out to her because Xformer is no joke. This is Pilates on CRACK and you absolutely can get hurt if you’re not paying attention. If you’re new, talk to your instructor and get your modifications ahead of time. It can be beginner-friendly, but it is definitely challenging. Also, shout-out to the older gentleman in my Xformer class! 😂 It wasn’t just college girls, although Sweat House has clearly figured out its college crowd. The second class was basically all college girls and hey, I get it. The owners are clearly cashing in on their demographic, and honestly, they’re doing it right. I did a double class and I’m SO glad I did because XMAT is probably my new favorite. I’ve been looking for something HOT, hard, vibey, infrared and available on ClassPass that isn’t a 40-minute drive, and this checks ALL the boxes. I left feeling sooooo good. Sweat House, you may have just created my new favorite workout. And I have to give a huge shout-out to the owners. These young entrepreneurs are out here killing it, staying humble, sweet and funny, and Tucson clearly loves them. I especially appreciate that they keep these classes available on ClassPass because YESSSS. More of this, please. Smaller location? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. And Sweat House is already opening location #3, so clearly they’re onto something. Tucson fitness is leveling up and I’m here for it.

I had such a great experience at YogaSix Casas Adobes on Oracle Road! Steph is an amazing instructor. Very kind, welcoming, and encouraging. The class was challenging and invigorating, yet her relaxing voice made it feel peaceful and grounding. Her cues were very clear and easy to follow, which allowed me to stay present throughout the class. If you’re looking for a welcoming yoga studio in Tucson with excellent instructors and classes that strengthen both your body and mind, I highly recommend YogaSix and Steph. I’ll definitely be back!

    VINYIN

This was the first yoga class I've been to that uses tennis balls to release fascia which was super nice! The instructor was great and the space was a little warm if your someone who gets over heated easily but not too bad and was otherwise super nice!
