I attend the Block Strength classes to increase my strength and weight load as the exercises are usually targeted at heavy and slow weight lifting exercises so you can go heavier than you might normally want to try. This class was more varied strength work including a fair bit of body work as well so it would be fine if that’s what you’re after.

There were times where I definitely couldn’t keep up with everyone else but Naomi gave me words of encouragement that really helped me through it and feel like I was doing a good job. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a full body workout, although if you're a complete beginner you might want to start with one of the weekday morning classes where there tend to be slightly fewer people/you can get a little more 1:1 attention.

I feel that the studio could adapt more to a yoga environment for when the room is being used for those classes e.g pulling the curtains so the sun isn’t glaring in your face or timing the class so it’ doesn’t coincide with a noisy class next door. Such a beautiful zen space with all amenities including showers, lockers, cafe and a relaxation room! The receptionist was very helpful and made us feel very welcome which was so nice given my experience with front of the house staff at other similar studio. Will definitely go back.
