Really good instruction! It’s hard to find a high difficulty yoga class focusing on inversions in the city and it was an amazing and informative class with warm ups and a workshop style section to end. Great energy! And also the studio is heated so that adds to the calorie burn and sweat during the class. I really enjoyed this class

Instructor was friendly, but the class was too fast paced. Hardly enough time in each pose to ensure that your form is correct. Also, it was a big class so there wasn't any individual attention to make sure your form is correct either.

I’ve always been enjoying Erin’s class but this one went beyond expectations! I’ve been suffering from lower back pain recently due to my bad posture working in front of a desk. The tricky part is that, because I’m pretty flexible to start with, it’s hard for me to get the deep stretch I need without overstretching and hurt the muscles. The class helped me gradually warm up the muscle groups and let me get the deepest stretch that my body was craving for. It’s challenging yet not too difficult that you can still adjust based on your level.

Good class but too loud! I usually wear earplugs to Pure Barre classes here, but have an ear infection so asked the instructor to keep the music at a moderate level. She did, but then added her instruction loudly over it. Since I can’t wear earplugs, and have sensitive ears due to the infection, the pain from the instruction was too much and I had to leave class half way through.

I love his energy, his smile, his humor, and his playlist - it’s the best!! What I love is that he makes sure the movements align perfectly with the beat of the music, something I’ve noticed other teachers don’t often do. So it makes this intense workout more fun and pleasurable. My body has transformed, and I feel like a queen! So grateful for Mark and his class 🥰

The Row is the only place I can reliably get a great workout in where I know I'll sweat and burn at minimum 400 calories (according to my Fitbit!). For circuit training the cardio machines help me track my personal progress as my stamina has improved with each class and the owner and primary instructor Louis keeps things interesting with added weight focused exercise that you can progress on at your own pace with each class. How energy really helps you keep going and he's always available to flag down if you need help. Only spending 2 minutes at each station also makes it so you don't feel stuck doing the same exercise for too long. I've personally improved so much in the last year. I found out working out 3x a week really makes the extra difference from 2x.

    hot deep stretch

Where do I begin?! I am so happy the studio moved this class up to a 6pm time slot so I could try it out!! This was truly life changing, I was drenched by the end and the aftermath was so healing it kind of felt to me like there was some somatic release happening?! I felt like this session was so healing for me and left with such mental clarity I loved it! I really enjoyed how Lee structured the session and explained things very well. She was able to guide you into much deeper stretches throughout and was just an excellent instructor over all with letting you know how to correct posture and giving modifications if needed or if you wanted to go into more challenging versions the option was there as well. I am super happy. My entire commute home my brain was just saying woooow the whole time. I usually try to take a class here once a month but it looks like I’m going to have to try to hit the deep stretch AND a sculpt or Pilates from now on. I also like how everything is included (mats, towels etc) and you truly enjoy because you don’t have to worry about sanitizing before and after (it’s done before and after). I feel as though they truly understand a busy nyc lifestyle and makes it such a smooth experience. Very clean studio, my only suggestion is that the actual doors in the bathroom need to have some sort of occupancy sign so others know that it’s in use. Even next to the curtained showers it would help. Also this time around there really wasn’t any hot water it was very cold which I feel like can be dangerous after the body has been in hot temps for prolonged periods of time. I know this isn’t really the studios fault I think it may have been due to the previous class ending 30 mins before this one did and it just needed time to reheat? Others commented the same thing with the other showers as well.

    Tower Class

Some parts of the class were challenging and but Maia kind of makes you want to push through as much of it as possible for some reason. She’s very clear in her instruction and that helps a lot with getting your form right. I really enjoyed the end of the class I could really feel the exercise helping with my posture

    Ashtanga

I've had the pleasure of practicing Ashtanga yoga with Arta! I can confidently say that she is one of the most skilled and compassionate instructors I've ever had. Her deep understanding of the Ashtanga is evident in every class. Arta creates a safe, supportive, and challenging environment that allows you to grow and deepen your practice. Her attention to detail, gentle adjustments, and thoughtful guidance have helped me build strength, increase flexibility, and cultivate greater body awareness. If you're looking for an instructor who embodies the true spirit, Arta is the one. I feel grateful to have her as my teacher and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a transformative experience. -Kristen
